Capcom Reveals Resident Evil 7 and Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite Sales Numbers


At their latest financial briefing, Capcom updated us on Resident Evil 7 sales, as well as announced how much Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite has sold. 

To date, Resident Evil 7 has reached 4.8 million in sales. Those numbers include the Gold Edition of the game.

And since it launched in September, Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite has sold about 1 million units.

Patch goes live today


General:

  • Guard: Fixed a bug that made it impossible to block low attacks when turning around
  • Collision Boxes: Fixed a bug that made hitbox timing inconsistent depending on which direction the character was facing
  • Shadow: Fixed a bug that caused shadow effects to display incorrectly when recovering from a hit while using a shadow attack
  • Soul Stone (Infinity Storm): Fixed a bug that made it impossible to switch characters for about 5 seconds if the partner character took damage when the Soul Stone Infinity Storm ended

Captain Marvel

  • Adjusted Active Switch entrance attack so that knockback distance matches that of other characters

Dormammu

  • Adjusted ground back dash so that from the 10 th frame on, it can be cancelled into an attack

Hulk

  • Adjusted ground back dahs so that from the 15 th frame on, it can be cancelled into an attack

Ultron

  • Adjusted Active Switch entrance attack so that knockback distance matches that of other characters

Venom

  • Venom Trap: Fixed a bug that caused two traps to appear when performed at certain times
  • Venom Glide: Fixed a bug that made it impossible to perform Venom Glide again until landing on the ground, when performing an air throw after using Venom Glide

Jedah

  • Fixed a bug that caused Finale Rosso to be interrupted mid-attack when it hits an opponent who has been bound by a reflected Web Ball

New Costume Packs Revealed For Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite


Each of these costume packs are set to launch on December 5th, and are priced at $4 for each individual costume, or $12 per pack. Alternatively, owners of the $30 costume pass will get all of these costumes for free.

Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite - Black Widow, Winter Solder, and Venom Trailer


Capcom also announced that they will be holding a demo weekend where those interested in the game can play free. It will be held from November 24 at 8:00 AM Pacific to November 27 at 8:00 AM Pacific and all 30 launch characters will be playable. 

Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite Sales Numbers Revealed


In their latest financial briefing, Capcom has revealed that Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite has shipped 900,000 units since it launched in September.

These numbers are worldwide, and include all platforms.

This is actually a lot better than what I was expecting, but I still can't imagine it reached Capcom's expectations.
