Sony's CEO has decided to step down

Kazuo Hirai, Sony's CEO for the last 6 years, has announced that he will be stepping down from the decision. Instead, he will serve as chairman of the company, which will take effect on April 1st. 

Kenichiro Yoshida, the current CFO of Sony, has been promoted and will take over as CEO on April 1st.

This kind of makes me sad, I really like Kaz Hirai, at least this was his idea and nothing bad has happened.

Kaz was a great CEO, and I am definitely going to miss him too. Things have only gotten better for Sony under him, and I'm sure a lot of that has to do with the focus on Playstation that he brought. Hopefully the new CEO can continue that success in the years to come.
