Lgndary Thoughts - September's PS Plus Lineup

Happy Friday Everyone! Today is the first day of September, and that means a new batch of PS Plus games are right around the corner! Let’s take a look at the upcoming games, and see if it is as good as last months. Welcome to Lgndary Thoughts!

For those that have not seen the news, here is the Playstation Plus lineup for September:

  • inFamous: Second Son, PS4
  • Strike Vector Ex, PS4
  • Truck Racer, PS3
  • Handball 2016, PS3
  • We Are Doomed, PS Vita (Cross buy with PS4)
  • Hatoful Boyfriend, PS Vita (Cross buy with PS4)

Right off the bat things are looking good with Infamous: Second Son. It is a fairly old game that launched just a few months after the PS4 did, but I don't think that diminishes it’s inclusion this month at all. I actually loved Infamous: Second Son, and think it, and the series as a whole is highly underrated. So those that have not had the chance to play it should definitely give it a shot.

The other game this month for the PS4 is called Strike Vector EX. This is a title that I have not played yet, but I am certainly interested after looking at some footage.

Neither of the PS3 games look too interesting, at least in my opinion. And Hatoful Boyfriend looks a little strange for my tastes. But I think I might give We Are Doomed a shot. It doesn't look like anything too special, but it may be fun to play for a bit.

But that isn't all! As a bonus, Sony is also offering RIGS as a PS Plus title for the next two months. I don’t own a PS VR headset, at least not yet, but this still has me excited knowing that I’ll have a game waiting for me when I do eventually pick one up.

This month is actually giving me a lot of hope for Playstation Plus. I still think Sony needs to drop PS3 support and focus more on PS4. But last month offered a pretty big title for everyone, and this month does the same thing. That, along with the bonus of RIGS, is giving me plenty of reasons to believe Sony may be turning the PS Plus ship around.

What do you think of this month’s lineup? Be sure to vote in the poll below! I’ll be sure to release the results early next week.

What do you think of the PS Plus Lineup for September?
Awesome! Great games that I can't wait to try!
Not too interested in anything/ I already own these titles.
Horrible, Sony could not have had a worse lineup if they tried.
